Alyn Richard Beals (April 27, 1921 – August 11, 1993) was a professional American football end/defensive end in the All-America Football Conference and the National Football League. He played six seasons for the San Francisco 49ers. In 1949, he led the AAFC in scoring with 73 points,[1] and when the AAFC folded at the end of that year, he was the league's all-time scoring leader with 285 points.[2]
He also scored the first ever touchdown for the 49ers.
